Edward Speleers goes to Eastbourne College and has played Richard the 3rd and Hamlet in school plays. However, he has had no other experience of acting other than school plays. Ed has been playing in school plays ever since he was 3.
His first film, Eragon, is a film based on Christopher Paolini's fantasy novel (which beat Harry Potter for best-seller two years ago). Eragon is the first in a triligy, Eldest being the second and Christopher is writing the third. Ed beat 180,000 hopefuls to get the role of Eragon.
